Our Story
H2 Construction and Development was founded by Roy Herpin, a lifelong builder with a passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to hard, honest work. Roy began his construction journey more than 30 years ago, stepping into the industry right out of high school. He joined the union, attended trade school, and built his career from the ground up as a union carpenter—learning the value of precision, discipline, and pride in every project.
For decades, Roy dedicated himself to the construction industry, working on countless commercial and residential projects while raising his family. When his children were grown, he knew it was time to take the next step—one that would allow him to use his expertise, leadership, and work ethic to build something of his own. That vision became H2, a company started more than 10 years ago with the goal of creating a lasting legacy for his family.
What began as one man’s dream has grown into a respected, family-driven construction company serving Southwest Florida. Our growth is no accident—it's the result of our dedication to our craft, our commitment to honest and fair practices, and our belief that the right way is the only way to do business.
